Moderne mix

Kelmscott is inspired by the English country gardens and wood block patterns of beloved textile designer and poet William Morris (1834- 1896). Moderne on the other hand uses the rounded geometrics of the 1930's American Art Moderne movement. In graphic contrast is the our Dada pattern , taken from a French artists proof that reminded us of the early twentieth century art movement Dadaism - especially the moment when Marcel Duchamp famously painted a mustache on a copy of the Mona Lisa.
