Behind the collection

Moderne mix

Kelmscott is inspired by the English country gardens of beloved textile designer and poet William Morris (1834- 1896). Riley on the other hand reminds us of the the wonderfully unique and influential work of Bridget Riley - a major figure in the Optical art movement of the mid 1960's. The clean and simple triangle pattern we named Tate pays homage to the wonderful art gallery of the same name where we spent so much time as an art student .
